Player of the Day - Scott Van Slyke, OF
Van Slyke had quite a hot streak but seemed to have tailed off to end April. He begins May with a bang, namely his 3rd HR of the season. He's struggled mightily at Home and against lefties this year, and he's drawn just 3 walks compared to 22 strikeouts. Unless he shows more discipline, he'll have a hard time progressing past Double A.
