Shortstop Tomas Perez committed two errors and catcher Kelly Stinnett had two passed balls. At the plate, Andy LaRoche has struggled mightily, being held hitless for the second time in the series. Abreu played 3rd today and committed an error, though he doesnt have much experience at the position. Loney made a great, diving catch to save a run early in the contest. The bright spot offensively thus far has been Delwyn Young, who already has 5 hits in 3 games. On the mound, Casey Hoorelbeke relieved Mays but was ineffective, allowing 2 runs in 2 innings of work. Matt White pitched a scoreless eighth. The 51's look to salvage the series by earning their first win tomorrow at 1:00pm.
