Player of the Day - Josh Lindblom, RHP
Not the flashiest statline, but the big righty produced his second straight strong start (double alliteration!!!) and induced 9 groundballs. His 4.70 ERA is distorted due to one really bad outing (3 IP, 7 ER); in his four other starts, his ERA is less than half (2.25). While he only struck out one batters, it's good to see Lindblom pitching to contact and trusting his stuff instead of trying to strike everyone out. If he keeps pitching like this, I wouldn't be surprised to see him in LA by the All Star break.
