Player of the Day - Alfredo Silverio, OF
The #30 prospect in the system according to BA, Silverio has had an interesting season. Enduring his second trip through the Midwest League, the 22 year old started out by hitting .323 in April before seeing his average drop to .245. He's back up to .292 in June, though he's drawn only 1 walk compared to his 15 strikeouts. Fredo has a ways to go before he can be considered a legit prospect.
