Players of the Day - Loons pitching
The trio of southpaws combined for a 4 hit shutout in which they struck out 11 and walked none. Miller, who debuted with AZL, struggled in his first few appearances, allowing 3 earned runs in his first 2.2 IP. Since then, he's given up only 2 in his last 11 and he's racked up the strikeouts. Aaron is averaging a disgusting 14.5 per 9 innings. He's also getting plenty of groundballs. Aguasviva got a late start to the season but was dominant from the get-go and he's kept the ball in the zone as well as on the ground. St Clair hasn't lived up to his potential but he's proven himself a more than capable reliever. In spite of lost velocity on his fastball, he's still posting a K rate of almost 12 per 9.
