Jacobo Meque came in to face 1 batter and allowed an RBI single, cutting the 66ers' lead to 1. But Javy Guerra made a relief appearance and ended the inning. Guerra allowed a single in both the 8th and 9th innings but managed to earn his 1st save of the year. Blake DeWitt continued to rake, slugging his 19th double of the season and is now batting .386 in June. Russell Mitchell also had a 3 hit night, while Ivan De Jesus Jr has more walks (36) than strikeouts (33). The Empire clinched at least a share of the division title with tonight's win. They face Lancaster again tomorrow at 1:05pm in their final game before the All Star Break.
