Blake DeWitt continues to hit well in June, batting .333. Russell Mitchell didnt put a ball in play and has been really struggling, hitting .167 this month. Hoffman stole his 11th base. Low A - Great Lakes lost 5-4

Josh Bell - 2 for 4, 2 2B's, RBI, K
Preston Mattingly - 1 for 3, HR (3), RBI, R, BB, 2 K's
Scott Van Slyke - 1 for 4, K
Trayvon Robinson - 1 for 4

Lefty Thomas Melgarejo started on short rest for the Loons, who couldnt hold onto an early lead. The offense gave him a run in the bottom of the 2nd on Preston Mattingly's 3rd longball of the year. But it was short lived, as Melgarejo blew the lead in the 4th and allowed 4 more runs in the 5th. Josh Bell had a nice game, doubling twice to give him 12 on the year. Trayvon Robinson and Scott Van Slyke each singled. Hopefully Kershaw will get the start tomorrow at noon.
