Zach Hammes lost his 3rd game and the Suns snapped their 4 game win streak. Hammes is now 0-3 on the year with a 4.70 ERA. Xavier Paul raised his average back to .280 while Cory Dunlap has hit safely in 5 of 6 June games. Anthony Raglani continues to struggle as his average has dropped down to .232. Chin Lung Hu did not play, likely due to injury. Jacksonville starts a new series with Chattanooga tomorrow at 4:05pm.

James McDonald had one of his worst outings of the year as the 66ers fell in a slugfest. McDonald's ERA rose to 3.88 and he allowed his 3rd and 4th HR of the year. Russell Mitchell hit his 7th HR, though his 3 hits were the only ones he's had since May 28th. Blake DeWitt and Lucas May doubled, their 14th and 12th two-baggers. Ivan De Jesus Jr has drawn 9 walks in the last 9 games, while Travis Denker has hit safely in 9 of his last 10 games. The Empire returns home for a 4 game series with Modesto, starting tomorrow at 7:05pm.
