AZL Dodgers did not play
Player of the Day - Stephen Ames, RHP
The 17th round pick of the Dodgers in this year's draft, Ames had an impressive pro debut. The former Zag posted a 3.91 ERA this spring and his 8 wins tied for the team lead. Unfortunately, I was unable to find a scouting report on him but from his college stats, he looks like more of a control pitcher (106 Hits, 70 K's, 21 Walks in 96.2 IP) than a power guy.
