Player of the Day - Nathan Eovaldi, RHP
Finally, a good start from Nate. The 19 year old Tommy John survivor finished last year with a flourish, repeatedly hitting 96mph with his fastball in his final outing. This season, success hasn't come so easy to the youngster, as he's only reached 5 innings three times in 8 starts. Eovaldi has plenty of fastball to get by in the low minors, but he needs to work very hard on developing his secondary pitches if he plans on sticking around.
