Player of the Day - Chris Withrow, RHP

In spite of struggling with control, Withrow held the Giants' High A offense in check for the second day in a row. It was a much needed strong outing after giving up 15 earned runs in his last 3 starts. Hopefully the Dodgers are forcing him to use his secondary pitches more, which is resulting in more walks and hopefully allowing him to develop from a thrower into a pitcher.
