Players of the Day - Pedro Baez, 3B and Ethan Martin, RHP
It's a toofer. Baez fell a triple short of the cycle, hitting his 5th HR tying him with Steven Caseres and Scott Van Slyke for the team lead. He's still struggling against righties and striking out too much, but the tools are there. And then there's Martin, who came off his worst outing with arguably his best. Ethan now has 40 K's in 30 innings, almost twice the number of hits he's allowed (21). It shouldn't be long before he finds himself in Double A.
