Player of the Day - Kyle Russell, OF
This was Russell's first multi home run game of the season and he now leads the league in HR, SLG and OPS. He's also done a much better job of making contact in May, striking out 8 times in 10 games. And while the Midwest league definitely favors pitchers, Russell will turn 23 next month and needs to prove that he can hit advanced competition in order to solidify himself as a legitimate prospect.
