Player of the Day - Jesus Castillo, RHP
Not the best prospect on the team or in the system, but he's had a very up and down season with moments of dominance sprinkled in between getting absolutely crushed. In his first, third, fifth and seventh starts, he's given up just 4 earned runs in 21 innings. However, his second, fourth and sixth starts have yielded 17 earned runs in 10.1 innings. Not as great a coincidence as you may think; the odd numbered starts have taken place on the road and the evens were at home. He's going to need to find some consistency in order to make the jump to the bigs.
