Player of the Day - Steven Johnson, RHP

Johnson took a 1-hit shutout into the 9th inning, before a leadoff double would score with 2 outs and end his chance at a complete game. Still, the 21 year old right-hander has quietly put together a strong season in his second go-round at High A. It was Stevie's second 10 strikeout effort this year and he has 59 K's in 44 innings. A few less walks and home runs would go a long way in his development.
