Player of the Day - Clay Calfee, OF
After being drafted in the 14th round last season, Calfee struggled in the Pioneer league, striking out 72 times in 49 games. Repeating rookie ball is never a good thing, especially for someone who was signed out of college. Already 23, Clay has plenty of power potential in his 6'6 frame, but he's always going to have problems controlling his extra large strike zone.
