Triple A - Las Vegas won 3-1
Matt Kemp - 2 for 5, 2B, R
James Loney - 0 for 0, IBB
Yhency Brazoban - 2 IP, Hit, ER, 0 BB, 2 K's
Miguel Pinango, who had started 5 games in Inland Empire, was skipped past Double A and made an emergency start for the 51's who handled New Orleans nicely. Pinango, who had posted an ERA of 4.61 in High A, tossed 5 innings of shutout ball while allowing just 4 hits and no walks while striking out 5. The only run allowed by the 51's came in the top of the 9th, when Yhency Brazoban gave up a solo HR. His ERA on the year is 2.00. Kemp hit his 7th double while Loney was walked intentionally after coming in as a PH. Abreu didnt play. Sin City has a nooner with the Big Easy tomorrow.

Double A - Jacksonville's game was suspended after the first inning due rain and will be made up tomorrow. The Suns had a 1-0 lead before play was stopped.
High A - Inland Empire won 10-7

Ivan De Jesus Jr - 1 for 3, 2B, 2 RBI, R, BB, E
After taking a 1-0 lead in the 2nd, the Visalia Oaks scored 5 runs over the next 3 innings. But the 66ers came back to tie it in the 6th. In the 7th, Visalia scored a pair to retake the lead but the Empire struck back with 4 in the 8th and 1 more in the 9th to finish off the Oaks. Denker hit his 2nd bomb while raising his average to .354. De Jesus Jr and Mitchell each doubled, while May and DeWitt went hitless. Hoffman is still struggling, though his average is a robust .324. The Empire goes for the sweep tomorrow at 1pm.

A strong outing from Cody White was aided by 3 8th inning runs to eek out the win. White earned just his 2nd win of the year, allowing 2 runs (1 earned) over 7 innings. Jesus Rodriguez pitcked up his 3rd save with a pair of scoreless frames. Van Slyke and Robinson each had multi-hit efforts, and are hitting .244 and .241 respectively. Mattingly has been DH'ing of late, though his average is still just .198. Bell's still racking up the K's and Santana now has 8 passed balls. The Loons play the getaway game tomorrow at 11am.
