Double A - Jacksonville lost 6-3
Chin Lung Hu - 3 for 4, 2B, RBI, BB
Xavier Paul - 1 for 5, 2 K's
Anthony Raglani - 2 for 5, 2B, K
Justin Orenduff - 4 IP, 4 Hits, ER, 2 BB, 4 K's
A 9th inning 3 run HR by Birmingham DH Cory Aldridge sent the Suns home with the loss. Justin Orenduff was solid, allowing just 1 run through 4 innings in his longest outing of the season. And no one wake up Chin Lung Hu because he's unconscious! Seriously, he's 10 for his last 13 and is now hitting .383 with a minor league best 16 doubles. And doing so in a pitcher's league in a pitcher's park. Just amazing. Raglani kept his power show on display, clubbing his 8th double and maintaining an OPS of 1.018. Xavier Paul is struggling, having struck out 14 times in his last 6 games and lowering his average to .276. Jacksonville hosts game 2 tomorrow night at 4:05pm.

High A - Inland Empire did not play
Low A - Great Lakes won 4-0
Preston Mattingly - 1 for 4, HR (1), 2 RBI, R, K, E
Scott Van Slyke - 1 for 4, K
Kenley Jansen - 0 for 3, 2 K's, HBP
A brilliant pitching performance from Cody White led the Loons to their 2nd shutout win of the season. White scattered 3 hits and 2 walks over 8 innings of shutout ball, earning his first win of the year. Good news: Mattingly hit his first HR of the season. Bad news: Mattingly committed his 15th error of the season. Great Lakes got out in front early, scoring 3 runs in the first. After Bridger Hunt doubled to lead off the inning, Francisco Lizarraga sacrificed him to 3rd and Mattingly homered. Eduardo Perez followed with a double, Matt Berezay was hit by a pitch and Adolfo Gonzalez singled in Perez. Gonzalez homered to lead off the 8th for the Loons' 4th run. After salvaging a game in the Beloit series, the Loons start anew with Wisconsin tomorrow at 4pm.
