Hu is still hitting .366. Raglani has reached base in 9 of his last 10. Dunlap is 4 for 8 with a pair of doubles since his return from a week long suspension. High A - Inland Empire lost 10-5
Jamie Hoffman - 0 for 5, K
Blake DeWitt - 2 for 5, R, K, SB, 2 E's
Lucas May - 1 for 2, R, 3 BB, K, PB
Russell Mitchell - 2 for 4, HR (4), 2 RBI, R
Travis Denker - 3 for 5, 2B, RBI, R, PO
Ivan De Jesus Jr - 0 for 4, K
From the highest mountain to the lowest valley, Marlon Arias lasted just 1 inning after pitching a no-hitter last time out. He allowed 3 ER on 2 hits and 3 walks before getting out of the first and he was subsequently replaced by David Pfeiffer in the 2nd. No word on why he came out but I'm assuming it's an injury. More info to follow. Mitchell hit his 4th HR and is batting .361 over his last 10 games. DeWitt collected 2 hits but committed 2 errors, numbers 6 and 7 on the season. May's batting average dropping to .283 didnt keep Stockton's staff from pitching around him, raising his season total to 12 walks. De Jesus Jr continues to struggle, as does Hoffman, and they are now hitting .226 and .312 respectively. Denker stayed hot, doubling for the 6th time this year and giving him a line of .375/.430/.545. The Empire continues their series with Stockton tomorrow night at 7:05pm.

Preston Mattingly - 0 for 3, RBI, BB, K, SB
Josh Bell - 2 for 4, 2B, RBI, 2 E's
Carlos Santana - 0 for 3, BB, K, PB
Trayvon Robinson - 1 for 4, K
The Loons pulled close but came up just short. Starter Thomas Melgarejo lasted 4.1 innings, allowing 5 runs (4 earned) on 7 hits, including 2 homeruns. Francisco Felix, who leads the Midwest League in ERA, came in and tossed 2.2 innings of 1 hit ball. Garrett White added 2 scoreless innings of his own. On offense, Josh Bell continued his hot hitting and is 6 for his last 12 with 2 doubles and a shtonk. Mattingly went hitless but managed to draw a walk and steal a base. Santana also drew a walk. Robinson, who's been dropped to the 9 hole in the order, collected a single but nothing else. Francisco Lizarraga, who's hitting .300 on the year, clubbed his 7th double of the season and stole 2 bases including home plate. Bridger Hunt also had a pair of hits. Great Lakes concludes their 2 game set with West Michigan tomorrow at 4pm.
